APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR LNER’S CUSTOMER AND COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FUND

We’re encouraging charities, organisations and communities across LNER’s 956-mile route to apply for the latest round of funding from our Customer and Community Investment Fund (CCIF).

The Fund aims to make a difference to people’s lives, supporting projects that focus on mental health, education and employability skills among marginalised groups, diversity and inclusion and environmental sustainability.

Applications for the latest funding round can be submitted up until 23:59 on Sunday, 24 September 2023. We’d love to see as many applications as possible from right along the LNER route.

Those applying need to be located within 10-15 miles of the East Coast Main Line where there is an identified social need, and outline how their project will help create a more inclusive, prosperous, and connected community. Further details about how to apply can be found here.

More than 130 projects have received funding from our CCIF over the past five years, and you can find out more about the fund – and some of the charities, organisations and communities that have benefited here.
