Bradley Hall Finalist at North East Marketing Awards

Bradley Hall has been named as finalist for two awards at the North East Marketing Awards 2022.

The marketing department at the full-service property firm has been named as a finalist for In-House Team of the Year, and the firm’s group marketing director, Cassie Moyse has been named as a finalist for Marketing Director of the Year.

Cassie also co-owns and runs property, business and lifestyle magazine, Portfolio North which was re-launched as an independent business in November 2021. The magazine is also shortlisted at the North East Marketing Awards for the Product Launch of the Year Award.

Cassie Moyse, Bradley Hall’s group marketing director, said: “I am incredibly proud of the team for being shortlisted for Team of the Year.

“Sophie joined us almost two years ago as a content executive and is now a PR and Marketing Executive who supports a vast amount of activities and projects we undertake. Chloe is our junior digital marketing executive and joined us in the summer of 2022, she has been a brilliant addition to the team. The amount and quality of work and activity we get through as a team is phenomenal and they deserve the recognition of being shortlisted.

“We have a variety of different services and departments as well as nine offices which each have different demographics and target audiences, as well as growing the overall brand presence and maintaining our corporate documents, website, and social media platforms. There is a great deal of planning, development, research, and analysis which goes into our marketing strategy and delivery.

“Bradley Hall is consistently expanding and with that comes the need for marketing to adapt alongside the business needs. It’s been an incredible year of achievements for the marketing team as we’ve responded to economic changes and shifts in the property market.

“We’ve made huge strides forward with our marketing in the past couple of years and I look forward to maintaining that momentum as Bradley Hall continues to grow.”

Bradley Hall’s marketing team has been recognised for its progress and efforts across internal and external marketing and communications which support all departments and offices of Bradley Hall. Bradley Hall is a full service property firm which includes dedicated departments which cover; Commercial Agency, Estate Agency, Land, Development and New Homes, RICS Red Book Valuation Services, Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews, Building Surveying, Property Management and Mortgages across its offices located in Alnwick, Morpeth, Gosforth, Newcastle, Sunderland, Wynyard, Durham, and Leeds.

The marketing team has successfully grown its social media reach by 445.691% from 2021-2022 while website traffic has grown by 92% since 2020. Its smart out-of-home digital advertising campaigns reach up to 4million people per month, while the company also gain dozens of pieces of coverage in the local, national and trade press on a monthly basis.

The marketing team at Bradley Hall has recently developed and announced the firm’s brand refresh which was launched to the team at the inaugural Bradley Hall Away Day. The full day event included team building activities from events specialists Purple Tiger, social media training from The Social Co. Academy, speeches and presentations from Bradley Hall’s CEO, and Marketing Director.

The brand refresh project also included new and comprehensive brand guidelines, new templates for marketing collateral, style changes to various online platforms, strategic amendments to its communications and new signage.

CSR has also remained a priority for the firm, with the marketing team overseeing a ‘community budget’ which is used to support various local charities, community organisations and grassroots sports clubs across the North East. The firm also encourages food and toy bank collections.

Each year the firm organises and hosts a Festive Fundraiser charity event which has supported the firm in donating £200,000 to local charities in recent years including Heel and Toe Children’s Charity, Marie Curie’s Newcastle Hospice, and NE Youth. This year, the team has organised ‘BH Festive Fundraiser’s Bingo Bonanza’ for 700 people, with the ambition of raising £75,000 for charity. The team has successfully sold out the event, developed a sponsorship package for four key sponsors which has also sold out, and attracted over 90 raffle and auction prizes which have all been donated to the event.

The team has also had success in overseeing a range of digital campaigns including strategic organic and sponsored social media posting, email campaigns and online content. Due to the team’s efforts, the firm’s open rate and click through rate is almost double industry average.

Other projects have included festive campaigns for the residential branches which have involved developing concepts and messaging, marketing collateral for canvassing, social media, OOH screen campaigns, blogs, and window displays. The team has also set up a partnership with Sunderland BID which has seen various activity across 2022 and 2023, as well as facilitating a successful office launch event at The Yard, Sunderland.

The team also conducted a photography and videography projects providing new content and imagery for the entire company. The content will be used for a variety of purposes including recruitment over the next year.

Bradley Hall’s group CEO has also been named as One to Watch in the LDC Top Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme which is supported by The Times; and as Entrepreneur of the Year at the Sunderland Echo Excellence in Business Awards 2022. The firm also recently topped EGI’s leader board as the most active Retail agent in Q3 2022.

In recent months Cassie has also been appointed to The Board of Directors at Bradley Hall, to support the team in facilitating doubling its turnover and team. She has also been one of three local business people to be part of the panel discussion at The Entrepreneurial Leaders event at Sunderland Fire Station Auditorium. The event included discussions surrounding career and business journeys. Cassie has also held a guest lecture at Sunderland University speaking to students about journalism and PR careers.
