Brothers are latest additions to Oscrete’s Bradford technical team

Brothers Keiron and Michael Todd are the latest laboratory recruits at Bradford’s concrete admixture manufacturer Oscrete UK.

The pair are two of the latest additions to the Oscrete team this month which is also expanding its sales force with three new sales appointments – Area Technical Sales Manager (North) David Todd, Area Sales Manager (Midlands) David Taylor and Area Technical Sales Manager (South East) Karl Mobley.

Oscrete UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading specialist construction chemical suppliers, operating out of Rutland Street in Bradford. A manufacturer of concrete admixtures for the construction sector, the team manufactures a range of high performance admixtures, waterproofing agents and products to control moisture damage in construction.

The latest appointments support the company’s 2022 growth trajectory following its move to independence from parent company, Christeyns UK, in January this year.

Brothers and newly appointed Trainee Concrete Technicians Keiron (22) and Michael Todd (25) are the most recent additions to Oscrete’s recently expanded laboratory, where they are joining the new product development (NPD) and technical team which is seeing unprecedented customer demand for product innovation.

Keiron, who has been taken on in the Oscrete laboratory after working at Christeyns since 2018 in the production department, said: “I’m really pleased to be given the opportunity to work with Oscrete and the addition of my brother Michael really adds to the family feel that Oscrete is all about. We’re both fortunate to be part of Oscrete’s close-knit team and it’s a great opportunity to build a long-lasting career within the concrete industry and even more exciting to do that within a company that is growing too.”

Director Scott Wilson said the appointments reflect the pace of change and development within the industry and support Oscrete’s ongoing growth strategy.

“This year began as a new chapter for Oscrete as we invested in becoming a standalone company allowing us greater flexibility and growth potential in our sector,” he said. “Our continued recruitment throughout the year reflects our commitment to sustainable growth and our focus entirely on our core markets.

“Alongside our strengthened sales force we are investing in further growth within our laboratory with the appointment of Keiron and Michael who are adding additional resource and creating capacity within this busy and expanding area of our business. We’re delighted to welcome all five into their new roles and are looking forward to everyone sharing the benefits of our expanding, experienced team.”
