Queen's Award for Enterprise

Chambers of Commerce help businesses with their Queen’s Award for Enterprise applications

Businesses are being asked to think about applying for the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Winning one of these prestigious awards would give businesses national and international recognition.

This year, Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Ed Anderson, Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mrs Johanna Ropner and Chambers of Commerce are holding an informative guidance webinar to help you with your Queen’s Award for Enterprise application.

On Tuesday 17 May, a webinar hosted by the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, and compeared by Jon Hammond DL, will allow attendees to hear from winners Astonish, Regal Foods and Essential Healthcare Solutions who have successfully gained the award. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions. In 2021, these webinars increased the number of applications from West Yorkshire, and the Lord Lieutenants are keen to see more businesses benefit from the awards, which are the most prestigious business awards in the UK.

Winners can fly the Queen’s Award flag with pride, and the emblem can be used on company marketing materials giving business the recognition it deserves.
