Five new team members as Castle follows expansion plans

Ambitious expansion plans to double the workforce at Castle Employment Group have taken a big step forward with a raft of new appointments over the past month. Five new team members have joined the recruitment agency, on top of two further recruits earlier in the year. All of the appointments fill vacancies left by team members being promoted internally or by new roles being created as the business expands.

The latest people to join Castle are Talent Co-ordinator Alex Caraman (Castle Industrial); Quality & Compliance Administrator Diane Charles; Talent Coordinator Tom Dunbobbin (Castle Education); Senior Recruitment Consultant Anna Langenfelde (Castle Business Support); and Delivery Consultant Huw Poulton (Castle Engineering & Manufacturing). The appointments come even before Castle’s main recruitment drive swings into action, with the business’ “Join Us” campaign planned to attract some of Yorkshire’s brightest talent over the coming months and beyond.

Managing Director Kerry Hope said: “This is a really exciting time for Castle, as we grow our team and build capacity to enable us to expand our services across Yorkshire.

“We believe very strongly in growing our own people and the 15 internal promotions we have had in the past 12 months alone are testament to the training and development we offer.

“I’m delighted to be welcoming new people to the team and look forward to supporting their development and watching them contribute to our future success.”

Castle currently operates 9 specialist divisions out of offices in York, Hull and Leeds, with its headquarters in Scarborough. Earlier this year, the business announced the intention to grow each division into more locations and niche markets, along with a 5-year vision for increasing revenue and doubling the size of its team.
