Leeds commuters surprised by blue Monday pick me up.

Inspiring workspace providers Bruntwood Works set out to beat the January blues on Blue Monday – dubbed the most depressing day of the year by cheering up Leeds commuters through random acts of kindness.

Both morning and evening commuters were gifted outside Bruntwood Work’s West Gate building and Leeds train station with health-boosting and winter warming treats including coffee, reusable water bottles, fruit, chocolates and desk plants.

Bruntwood teamed up with local independent coffee supplier Rabbit Hole Travelling Coffee who were on hand to give a taste of its delicious hot drinks to passersby for the ultimate morning wake up.

All gifts were carefully designed to inspire workers to get the most out of the new year and put a smile on faces throughout the city.

Bruntwood Works owns, lets and manages 4 buildings in Leeds city centre including 14 King Street, 100 and 114 Wellington Street and the newly refurbished West Gate which is the current home of Channel 4 in the city.
