Lupton Fawcett welcomes newly qualified Sarah
Newly qualified solicitor Sarah Proctor has boosted Lupton Fawcett’s dispute resolution team in York.
Sarah joined the firm in 2015 after completing a Graduate Diploma in Law. She also has a degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Hull.
Her training contract followed the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s ‘work-based experience’ initiative, which takes prior experience into account to reduce the length of the training programme.
Sarah completed the accelerated part-time Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2017 whilst working as a Litigation Executive at Lupton Fawcett.
Jonathan Cripwell, Head of the York Office and Head of Dispute Resolution in York, Lupton Fawcett, said: “As a firm we pride ourselves on developing talented young people and providing them with a rewarding career.
“Sarah has already gained considerable experience and has done exceptionally well in balancing her training with working as a solicitor. She has established herself as a key member of the team and we are looking forward to seeing her progress further.”
Lupton Fawcett delivered a strong showing in the latest Legal 500 rankings. The Leeds, Sheffield and York-based business was ranked for the expertise of its individuals and teams in 21 practice areas, putting it in the top five for Yorkshire and the Humber.
