Schofield Sweeney’s trainees celebrate qualifying, and the firm welcomes three new trainees

The Yorkshire-based law firm prides itself on being the first choice of employment for its trainees once they finish their training and recruit their next generation. The firm’s training programme is very popular and attracts high-quality candidates into an exciting and challenging environment.

Three new trainees have joined this month: Hannah Cullen, Shaun Parsons and Jessica Townend.

‘I am extremely excited to take the next step in my career and begin my training contract with Schofield Sweeney. I am looking forward to experiencing new departments across our three offices as well as having more responsibility and experiencing lots of new opportunities.’ Jessica Townend, trainee.

Ethan Turner, Holly Pickerill and Faima Ali, who trained with the firm, have recently become qualified solicitors. Ethan takes on a role as a solicitor in the corporate team in Huddersfield, Holly joins the private wealth & succession team in Bradford, whilst Faima has qualified into the commercial property team in Leeds.

“It is great that we welcome three new trainees and congratulate our newly qualified solicitors who have decided to stay with us. We take real pride in investing in our trainees and offering a quality and thorough training contract. We realise that training contracts are the bedrock of a long and successful career in the legal profession. They play an important role in the success and ongoing development of the firm.” Leo Jones-Rowe, partner, and training principal.

Developing and investing in the firm’s expertise plays a huge part in its ongoing success, employing over 170 members across three offices.
