TF Automation invests in new machinery to support customer needs

TF Automation has recently invested in new machinery for its machine shop to support customers’ on-going and future requirements.

The new Milling Machine is vital to add additional capacity to TF Automation’s production and enable the 3-dimensional machining increasingly required by our customer base. The RMX2500 3-Axis CNC Bed Mill comes with a table of 1245 x 228mm that can hold up to 600kg, travels of 780 x 390 x 560mm and RMX Control.

Tony Hubbert, MD comments, “We have seen a market trend towards the requirement for more detailed and accurate precision engineering and more importantly the move to 3D profiling from 2D, which we can now achieve. The new machine ensures that our machining capabilities are more innovative, versatile and flexible, enabling us to support customers with their on-going requirements. “

He continues, “Standards, quality and tolerances are becoming tighter and more critical and we are now in a position to machine parts to these exacting requirements which are becoming more detailed and complex.”

TF Automation purchased the machine with the support of the LEP’s Access Innovation Grant Funding. Installed in early March and now fully up and running, the new milling machine has enabled TF Automation not only to increase capacity but support critical industries as the company remains open supporting its customers through the Coronavirus Pandemic
