Content & Publication
An article is a news story in the form of a press release – similar to those which you would send to a newspaper or magazine.
A member offer is an advertisement of your products or services, with an incentive for other Chamber members. This could be a discount or free trial.
A feature is an in-depth interview or insightful article or business commentary. Executive members and Patrons receive dedicated magazine space for their features, and these are also published online. Feature articles can also be purchased, contact marketing@wnychamber.co.uk for more information.
We will source an appropriate alternative if your image does not meet or style guidelines. For example:
A - Your image may not have been high enough resolution so we sourced an alternative
B - Your image may have been a logo, sign or branded item. Articles are editorial content and should include photos of people, places and products.
We reserve the right to amend content that does not meet our style guide or standards. We aim to make only minor changes.
Once you are logged in, you can select ‘Your Content’ from the top menu, to view everything you have published. From here, you can edit or delete any of your content.
You can add an expiry date to your member offer if it is time sensitive. If you leave this blank, your offer will remain visible for the term of your membership.
If you upload a vertical image, it will automatically get cropped to a horizontal image, and will crop from the centre. To avoid this, please crop your images to a 16:9 ratio of 1920x1080 pixels.
All content must be checked and approved before it is published.
We aim to schedule publication of member articles and offers within 10 working days.
You will receive an email letting you know when your article has been published, with a link to view your content.
