No. Each Chamber member company can only have one login account to manage their news articles and member offers. The Chamber’s primary contact for your company is defaulted to be the person who has access to the account. If you require access, please contact this person. If you are unsure as to who the primary contact for your company is, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
At your discretion, you can share the login username and password with trusted members of your team, and with external agencies working on your behalf. The password reset and publication notifications will only go to one email address.
Yes, you can nominate a new designated company contact who is authorised to manage your account and upload content on your companies behalf.
Click Update Profile in the top menu and complete the Nominate a New Author form.
We will then check this, add them to our database, and send them an email to set up their account.
A - Your email address and account will only work while you are current members of the Chamber. If your membership fees are overdue, or you resign your membership, you will not have access to your account. Contact the membership team at email@example.com
B - You may no longer be your companies designated company contact authorised to upload content. Only one email address can be associated with the account.
Only the primary contact can change information relating to your company, when logged into the Chamber Portal. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for help
Previously published content will be removed while browsing the lists of articles, but each individual article will be visible. If you rejoin in the future, your articles will reappear.
Only the direct link will still work to avoid ‘page not found’ errors. Your company profile will not appear below the article, and the article will be attributed to the Yorkshire Business Editor.
If you would like to delete all of your content, the Chamber can delete this on your behalf. Please email email@example.com with your request. Please note, one deleted, your content cannot be retreived.
The email may have gone to your junk folder, or may have been blocked by your anti-spam software. Please ask your IT department or provider to whitelist emails from firstname.lastname@example.org
Click Update Profile link at the top of the page when you are logged in and complete the form to add your social media handles.
Content & Publication
An article is a news story in the form of a press release – similar to those which you would send to a newspaper or magazine.
A member offer is an advertisement of your products or services, with an incentive for other Chamber members. This could be a discount or free trial.
A feature is an in-depth interview or insightful article or business commentary. Executive members and Patrons receive dedicated magazine space for their features, and these are also published online. Feature articles can also be purchased, contact email@example.com for more information.
We will source an appropriate alternative if your image does not meet or style guidelines. For example:
A - Your image may not have been high enough resolution so we sourced an alternative
B - Your image may have been a logo, sign or branded item. Articles are editorial content and should include photos of people, places and products.
We reserve the right to amend content that does not meet our style guide or standards. We aim to make only minor changes.
Once you are logged in, you can select ‘Your Content’ from the top menu, to view everything you have published. From here, you can edit or delete any of your content.
You can add an expiry date to your member offer if it is time sensitive. If you leave this blank, your offer will remain visible for the term of your membership.
If you upload a vertical image, it will automatically get cropped to a horizontal image, and will crop from the centre. To avoid this, please crop your images to a 16:9 ratio of 1920x1080 pixels.
All content must be checked and approved before it is published.
We aim to schedule publication of member articles and offers within 10 working days.
You will receive an email letting you know when your article has been published, with a link to view your content.
