CitiPark expands presence in London with two new branches

CitiPark Portman Square and London Barbican Now Open

Leading parking operator CitiPark, a subsidiary of property investor Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS), is celebrating its expansion across the capital by announcing the opening of two new branches in the heart of London.

These strategic additions, in Portman Square and Aldersgate, mark a significant step forward in CitiPark’s commitment to expanding its footprint across the UK.

With the inauguration of these two branches, CitiPark now boasts a total of 20 branches nationwide, solidifying its position as a key player in the parking industry. The company, recognised for providing just under 10,000 parking spaces across major UK cities, including Leeds, Manchester, London, Watford, Rickmansworth and Cheltenham, continues to focus on enhancing its services and accessibility for customers.

The new CitiPark branches in Portman Square and Aldersgate reflect the company’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge parking solutions. Both locations will feature state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure, ensuring a seamless and efficient parking experience for customers and residents alike.

CitiPark Portman Square: Situated in the prestigious Portman Square, the new CitiPark branch offers a 24-hour parking solution, contributing 431 spaces to the area. Positioned near Hyde Park and Regents University, this prime location offers direct access to the adjacent opulent Nobu Hotel and the exclusive private members club Home House. The branch will include three dedicated disabled bays with electric vehicle (EV) charging points operated by CitiCharge, CitiPark’s EV charging network.

CitiPark Barbican (Aldersgate): Located in the vibrant Aldersgate district and offering 670 spaces, the new CitiPark branch will provide convenient and accessible parking options for local residents and visitors. With a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, the Aldersgate branch will integrate advanced technology, including contactless payments, the CitiPark App, and Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems.

CitiPark’s investment in technology extends beyond the parking facilities, encompassing a comprehensive approach to customer engagement and convenience. The company’s car parks are equipped with a remote car parking management system operated from the ‘Engine Room,’ ensuring efficient operations across all branches.

Ben Ziff, Managing Director at CitiPark, expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating,

“We are delighted to add Portman Square and London Barbican branches to our growing parking portfolio in London. Our advanced parking management systems will improve the efficiency for motorists, making parking hassle-free. Our expertise and specific knowledge of car park management, alongside our innovative customer-focused products will deliver an improved and seamless customer journey.”
